This concert is a reconstruction of a mass as it might have been heard at the Sainte-Chapelle in Dijon in 1503. Most of the polyphony is by Pierre de la Rue, the celebrated composer of the Burgundian court, who died 500 years ago this year.

Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Armistice to World War I, The Clarion Choir joins forces with the Cathedral Choral Society (Washington, DC), the Kansas City Chorale, The Chamber Choir of St. Tikhon’s Monastery (PA), and the Orchestra of St. Luke’s under the baton of Maestro Leonard Slatkin to give the world premiere of Alexander Kastalsky’s epic Commemoration for Fallen Brothers

Inspire: A Choir for Unity
Mozart Requiem
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the signing of the armistice that ended the First World War, Inspire will join the UN Singers and the UN Symphony Orchestra in a performance of Mozart's Requiem.
​
The event is hosted by the Mountbatten Institute, and co-sponsored by the Permanent Missions of United Kingdom, Germany, India and Argentina and Permanent Observer Missions of the Holy See and of the Sovereign Order of Malta.
